Who is Nicholas Maduro
Nicholas Maduro, the former President of Venezuela started his political career and entering the arena from humble beginnings. Starting off as your classical bus driver, then rising to power as a Union leader, then later on being elected to the National Assembly. As a member of the United Socialist Party, Maduro was appointed to a variety of positions under the Chavez Regime. These positions would include Minister Of Foreign Affairs, President of the Assembly and eventually Vice President. In most recent developments within the region, the now former President of the Venezuelan regime has been infiltrated through a series of military joint operations conducted by The US Government, the CIA and US military forces, leading to what would be considered and quoted as to be the capture of Maduro and his wife. Both husband and wife are currently being detained at a Brooklyn detention facility. At approximately 02:01 local time 06:01 GMT, with over one hundred fifty aircrafts were used with the goal of getting the extraction team into the capital. US forces were then able to cut the power and capture Maduro using our Army’s Delta Force, after a CIA source within the Venezuelan government helped the United States track his location. US Officials openly admitted that the airstrikes were used as a cover for the extraction with no US forces killed and very few injuries. In response to the global media, the Venezuelan defense Minister Vladimir Padrino reported on state television that a large number of Maduro’s security team, soldiers and innocent civilians were killed. The five locations that were targeted consists of an airfield known as La Carlota, Fuerte Tiuna, Port La Guaira, a main conduit to the Caribbean sea and a telecoms tower

Delcy Rodriguez is the current interim President after being sworn in by the nation’s supreme court. On Saturday she demanded Maduro’s release stating that he is the only President. She also declared that the nation of Venezuela will not become a colony of an empire. The government also accused the United States of using the attack as a strategic measure to seize their resources, minerals and forcibly break the political independence of the nation.

The Trump administration has made public their intention on running Venezuela until such time a safe, proper judicious transition was possible. Until such time and maybe thereafter, US oil companies would be making huge investments within the Venezuelan oil industry mainly infrastructure, to pay for repairs and start making money for the nation. The nation’s wealth will be reallocated to the Venezuelan national economy and The United States, in the form of reimbursements for everything spent. The Trump administration also said that the nation of Venezuela will be selling oil to other countries. According to US attorney general Pam Bondi, both Maduro and his wife were officially indicted and will be charged with conspiracy to commit narco terrorism, import cocaine, possession of machine guns and other devices to be used against The United States. The Trump administration and The Venezuelan government deeply fell out of favor with the arrival of hundreds of thousands of migrants into the United States alongside the movement of drugs, particularly fentanyl and cocaine. In response the Trump administration designated the Venezuelan gang Tren De Aragua and Cartel de Los Soles as (FTO) Foreign Terrorist Organizations, being led or having direct links to Maduro himself. Maduro has vehemently denied all charges including being a cartel leader and accused the Trump organization of using the war on drugs as a pretext to dispose of him, while exploiting the Venezuelan oil reserves. Currently Venezuela holds the worlds largest proven reserves which is considered to be heavy and sour within the industry and is considered to be most suitable for diesel and asphalt when compared to US production, light and sweet, which is most suitable for petrol.
A world divided between legitimacy and legalities.
Russia openly condemned the attack calling it an act of armed aggression while Iran’s Foreign Minister considered the entire operation to be a flagrant violation of the nation’s sovereignty. Many other Lain American countries openly condemned the attack. Countries like Brazil and Colombia. Colombian President Gustavo calling the strikes an assault on sovereignty and the Cuban President Miguel Canel Diaz described the strikes as a criminal attack.
Meanwhile other Trump allies such as Argentina and The United Kingdom openly supported the Trump administration’s actions with comments like long live freedom coming from Javier and The United kingdom’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer stating his government will shed no tears over the Maduro situation and is looking forward to discussing evolving situation in Venezuela with its US counterparts. The European Union’s top diplomat Kaja Kallas reiterated the bloc’s position on not recognizing the legitimacy of the Venezuelan Presidency and would like to focus on a peaceful transition of power. While not outright criticizing the entire event, she did mention that the principles of international law must be respected. Spain’s Prime Minister decided to keep a neutral response while viewing the future outcome of the Venezuelan nation with uncertainty stating that even though they did not recognize the former Presidency as legitimate, they also acknowledge the Trump administration’s actions as a violation of international law
