Gervonta Davis is a highly skilled American Boxer whom has held numerous titles. In two thousand seventeen he held the International Boxing Federation super featherweight title.  The World Boxing Federation Super feather weight title twice in two thousand eighteen and two thousand twenty, the Wba super light weight title in twenty twenty one and finally, the WBA lightweight title from twenty twenty three to twenty twenty six or present day.
Despite all of these major accomplishments, Mr Davis is no stranger to the law. In twenty twenty Gervonta was charged in a domestic dispute. Those charges were later dropped. Later on that year, around November to be exact, he was charged in a hit & run where he plead guilty resulting in ninety days home confinement, three years probation and community service. In December twenty twenty three, he was arrested on a misdemeanor battery domestic violence charge involving an alleged "closed hand type slap" on the mother of his child and in July twenty twenty five he was arrested in South Florida for allegedly hitting the mother of his children during a Father's 
Day gathering or event.
In most recent developments, as recent as January twenty twenty six, an arrest warrant was issued in Miami Gardens for battery, false imprisonment, and attempted kidnapping following an alleged October 2025 incident, where he attacked a woman at a gentlemen's club. According to executive officer Emmanuel Jeanty, they are currently working with the US Marshalls fugitive task force to find Davis.
According to the accuser, Mr Davis grabbed her by the back of the head with one hand, while holding her mouth and throat with the other. He then forcefully dragged her through a stairwell, kitchen then finally the back exit where he physically assaulted her before later releasing her to her co-worker.
A lawsuit was filed days after the incident by Gervonta's ex-girlfriend. After careful review of the surveillance footage, the police department determined that it corroborates the allege victim's story. 
This incident occured October twenty seventh at a gentleman's club where the woman was or is still currently employed as a VIP cocktail server. The victim stated that she had known Mr Davis since twenty twenty two and was involved in a romantic relationship, which briefly ended blocking all incoming communication and contacts with Mr Davis. Providing a lead as to why the incident occured or where everything may be stemming from. A spokesperson for the police department stated during a briefing that domestic violence is a serious crime and they remain committed to holding offenders accountable and protecting their victims.
